Leadership Rogers County Class of 2025 Celebrates Graduation and Community Commitment

The final session of the Leadership Rogers County program concluded with a heartfelt graduation celebration, where this year’s cohort gathered to reflect on their journey and commemorate their achievements. Held at the Elk’s Lodge—generously provided by participant Mac McMillan—the evening featured a shared meal, warm camaraderie, and stories of impact.

During the celebration, each graduate was invited to share a single word that encapsulated their experience in Leadership Rogers County. Words like “growth,” “connection,” and “awareness” resonated throughout the room, highlighting the personal and professional transformation participants experienced. Members also shared their favorite sessions from the program, including the initial teambuilding retreat, the visit to the Port of Catoosa, a trip to the Oklahoma State Capitol, a tour of Claremore’s Museum of History, and an eye-opening visit to the Rogers County Jail.

As each participant received a commemorative plaque, they reflected on how the program has shaped their perspective and future goals. Many expressed a renewed passion for community service, a commitment to supporting local nonprofits, and a desire to stay engaged with their fellow cohort members beyond the program.

Leadership Rogers County continues to foster civic engagement and cultivate leaders dedicated to making a lasting difference in the community.
